I set up the business in 2006, having served my time in a 21 year career In banking, predominantly at Yorkshire Bank and Nat West covering a range of roles including personal, commercial and asset finance roles. Latterly I established the Bank’s Premium & Private banking in the North East and my last role was Area Manager covering Tyneside to the Humber. I truly believe clients want one place they can trust to help them through the many different financial challenges that life throws at them and that is what we aim to provide.

On a personal basis, I am married to Rachel who works in a local Primary School. we have 2 grown up children now finding their own way in the world and our family is completed by Lennie, a mad Cocker Spaniel. We have just gone through the joys and tribulations of building our own home and are finally settled living in it.

In the little spare time I get, I enjoy cycling, football and rugby, walking the dog, as well as the ups and downs of being a Middlesbrough FC season ticket holder.

Joined us as an apprentice in 2014 after studying for his A levels at college. Matty completed his CeMAP qualification in 2018, becoming a qualified advisor and enjoys helping and advising his clients.

Matty specialises in buy to lets, Limited companies, Multi Unit Blocks, HMO’s and short term lending as well as standard residential mortgages.

Personally, Matty is unlucky enough to be a Sunderland season ticket holder and endures much office banter about it. He is also film fanatic, Star Wars being his favourite, and has a passion for 80’s music.

Sophie joined us after completing her A Levels in 2019 as an apprentice. She has now progressed to a qualified protection adviser who ensures our customers keep their homes and maintain their lifestyle should any of life’s unexpected event occur. She is also studying hard for her CeMap qualification.

In her spare time, Sophie enjoys socialising with her friends. Her long term goals are to be a fully qualified advisor in time and eventually be able to travel the world.

Sarah joined us in March 2020, after a long career with Yorkshire Bank working in various locations across Teesside, Co Durham and North Yorkshire. She is an experienced mortgage and protection advisor who is very customer focused and who always strives to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Sarah is married to Mark and has 2 sons. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and going to the theatre. She loves going on holiday, both in the UK and abroad, and definitely prefers sun over snow!

Karen joined us in March 2020 after a long career with Yorkshire Bank working in Stockton, Redcar and finally their Middlesbrough Branch. She is a true professional who works hard to put the customers needs first whilst still being friendly and approachable. She will always go the extra mile to make customers dreams come true.

Karen has been married to Andrew for 33 years and has 2 sons, Joshua & Daniel. She loves spending time with family and friends at home and on holiday.
